Hi,
My name is Tabitha and I am 22 years old. I have a 2 year old daughter and currently live with my boyfriend of 3 years. It has just gotten to the point that I just cant stand to be here anymore, I'm tired of feeling like a bottom feeder, last in line, and just neglected and emotionally abused. I want to leave but I feel stuck, like I dont know how I will ever do this on my own, if it were just me then it would be so easy, but it's not, and other people do it everyday, but I just dont know if I can do this...

I am doing research, trying to figure out what options I have because I am still young and cant be miserable for the rest of my life.

Thank you for having me here,
Tabitha

Women's Shelter. Not saying go there. But man, they have been a life saver for me. I never staid at the women's shelter, but they know all the rescources and are great. We never had any physical abuse, it was all emotional and sexual, and they have been so helpful. Helped me locate things, just take care of what needs to be done.

Also, churches. If you belong to one, call the pastor. I'm Mormon, and my Bishop has been my lifeline! I wouldn't have survived this without him. I've been on church welfare for the last three months as I job searched. Food orders ever two weeks to keep the fridge stocked.

Between the Women's Shetler and my Bishop, I started a job today, and at some point I will be up on my feet. Not there yet, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Go for it girlfriend!

Tabitha, welcome to our site. You will get alot of emotional and moral support here. Keep posting so we know how you are doing.

Charity is right. Women's shelters are great resources. We have one here that is very protective of its occupants (if they are in danger). Your church can be very helpful also. There is help out there. Good luck.

Keep us informed.
