I am new to your group and wanted to introduce myself. I'm the mother of 2 adopted little girls. I adopted them through the state and for this reason will not posting a picture of our family at this time. I'm a new single mom and didn't realize how much hard work it would be just to supply the simple things in life. I can't imaging having to deal with puppies and piercings. I know that I'm new at this but I just wanted to say you do the best you can with what you are given and you make the best of it.

I never knew how incomplete my life was until I got my daugthers and now I feel a small part of completion....I would love for my girls to have a father but for now they have plenty of male role models.

Well that is enough of my ramblings I just wanted to let everyone one there is a new kid on the block :>Wink

Welcome to the site! I gotta say I don't know of another single mom through adoption on here. Nice to see a new flavor...

I also didn't know there was a Vancouver, WA. It's a split city between Canada and the US, like Niagra Falls?

Hmmm...well, you got me breaking out my Atlas.

I found Vancouver, WA on it. I see there's a Vancouver Island too! And all this time I just thought it was a city in BC...

A few years ago my son and I took a couple months to road trip around the US. I really wanted to get up to the Pacific Northwest (Glacier, Olympic, etc), but we started to run out of time and we had to head back without going up there. Ah well...maybe we'll visit someday, and in the meantime please forgive my ignorance about your area :P

And once again...welcome!

Later,
Bobby

Don't worry about it before I moved here I didn't know that it existed either until a friend who is from the area told me about it. Because you never hear about Vancouver, WA I hear that Vancouver, BC is beautiful and I want to visit there. I have to get my daugthers passports before we go because you have to have one now to enter into the country.

Hi from the other side of the rain gutter. And welcome to the site.

I have relatives in Canada and have been up there a few times as a kid, on the island too.

Bobby if you look at a map of North America you can't miss the Columbia river, when it turns north that is where Portland and Vancouver are.

By the way I was born here.
