hey it's me again! i just thought that i'd share a bit of good news that has happened in my life. i was stressing over not having my high school diploma and thought that any dream i had for the future was flushed down the toilet (for the next 18 years at least.) when my second marriage had run it's course. and i'm at the ripe old age of 20 with a beautiful daughter about to be a month old on 6-7-06. but today i finally opened up and told my mother (who knew something was worng anyway. we're extremly close.) and her and my step-father sat down and told me that if i wanted to go back to school they would fund it as long as i want. so, i'm starting a local night school program and i should have my diploma in time to enroll in school this fall...hopefully. i'm going to follow my dreams and go to cosmotology school. then out of the blue my friend karen calls. and tells me she's coming back for college and she needs a place and she heard i needed a roommate so i get to keep my apartment and don't have to move in with my parents!!! i'm so excited i could do cart-wheels if my knees still didn't hurt from gaining so much waight being pregnant. so, i'm going to (this is my ultimate future goal.) open up my own shop after i get out of school and probably call it aftayna's. for me, my step-sister, and my step-dad. he'd call us both aftayna when he got our names mixed up when shayna (my sister) would stay for the summer. so, what do you think? does anybody else have good news? or maybe your just having a good day? i hate to party alone. Big Grin
