I am New to SFV |
Hello, My name is Allison and I'm a single mom. (insert support group "Hi Allison" here) I have an 8 year old boy and he is the light of my life. I actually set up my membership here in June of last year but this is the first time I'm posting.
My story: I was dating a guy and he dumped me for someone else. I few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. He thought I was lying because I wanted him back and when he found out I wasn't he left the state. During my pregnancy he would call every now and then saying that he wanted to be there for me. The day of my son's birth he was nowhere to be found. Even after that, I tried to keep him involved in his son's life. It didn't work. The most he's seen him is 8 or 9 times in his whole life. The few times he did use his visitation it was so he could p*ss off his GF. The most recent time was at least a year and a half ago. He doen't call on holidays, birthdays, and he doesn't pay any support. Sorry to be so long winded. Thanks for listening to me. I hope I can be a productive member of the group. |
