Friday,the 1st was my birthday.My 42nd birthday.I was ok with it I guess,as ok as one can be turning 42 I guess.It started out bad from the start.The family knew it was my birthday because they had been joking around about it.Friday morning I get up to go to work and my son and my mother are both up,neither remember,nobody says HAPPY BIRTHDAY.I tried not to let it bother me,after all I'm 42 now,but it hurt a little.I get over this and come home from work,they've remembered by now,and we all go out to eat.We get to the restraunt,you pay first there,mom pays for my sisters because she drove us there,my son and I are behind my sister in line and she doesn't pay for mine.Later she said she was sorry that she wasn't even thinking.I was going to pay for mine anyway but it's the thought that counts.It gets worse,we are eating and this girl comes by with this BIG dish of ice cream,gets right beside my chair,and......SHE DROPS IT.Vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup all over one shoe and one leg.Then the waitress comes up to refill my sons water and shes nervous,like it's her first day on the job or something,she misses the glass or something and the water splashes off the side of the glass and I get a face full,I'd say the odds of that happening are pretty slim but not for me obviously.My mom starts laughing and says I probably should have just stayed home.I felt so bad.I just hope this isn't a sign of the year to come.Please send good thoughts,vibes ,or anything you've got to turn my bad luck around LOL.It has to get better---------------RIGHT. :loverain:

mine coming up in a wek and i be older then you, my kids dont understand birthdays much excepted there own. i have not receieved a card from my parents in years.i do know how you feel. have a glass of wine from me and take abubble bath. happy birthday hugs meandme
