I guess I'll take my turn for introductions. I've posted a few times since I joined, but haven't officially said hi.

My name is Sarah, I'm a single mom to my daughter who is 9 1/2 and my son who will be 6 next month. I recently (just over 2 mos ago) got out of an almost 9 year long relationship.

In essence though I've been a single mom for the last 10 years since I left my ex-husband who abused me, when I was pregnant with my daughter. My son's father & I had an exclusively long distance relationship and in the past 6 years he's only seen my son a little over a handful of times and for the most part only if I brought him out there to see him. Hence the fact that I say I've pretty much been a single mom for over 10 years now.

Well, enough of my long winded introduction!

I don't know about everyone else who's just joined recently, but myeslf I just googled "single parents support" or something of that nature and found you guys!! Smiler
