Has anyone made good experiences with marriage portals? I know eharmony.com and findyourpouseonline.com have a good reputation, but that's all hearsay.

I was wondering if there might be someone out there who can actually tell a real tale. Is it worth spending time on such websites?

My Uncle and his wife met on e-harmony. They are now married and their son will be 1 this summer. I know they are very happy together. They really seem perfect for each other, get along great, have a lot in common, same religious views, both a little older and wanted to get married and have children right away. I've never heard them called Marriage Portals though, is that what they are called?

So I guess I can't say anything too great about it. I was so young at the time though. I think it could have been a better experience if I would have been more mature.
