So I have been waiting to get a settlement from an auto accident that I was in in Oct 07. It was pretty bad and costly (My lost wages alone are $6,000) and apparently the lady is supposed to call me today and give me an offer. We have been working on this since Jan so I am very anxious to get it over with. The adjuster wasn't doing her job so I had to get others involved so that she would do her job and we could get this settled. As soon as I get my check Addie's bedroom is getting put together. So keep your fingers crossed that I will get some good news today

Jenn I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you. The lawfirm that I work at, we represent the insurance companies' interests and report directly to the insurance company claim reps. They are not always timely in responding to us either and once in a while we have to get tough with a claim rep who is . . . for a better term . . . a biotch. lol

I hope you get your settlement sooner than later.

When I was on jury duty a few year back, I got stuck on 2 trials - both were auto accident claims cases - such fun. But interesting in a way - at least I didn't get stuck on a murder trial ! Yeah, you want to avoid that. Best of luck !

Thanks for the good lucks and positive thoughts.....she didn't call today but the people I have helping talked to her and she said that she is waiting to get the approval from her boss to offer me whatever it is she is going to offer....so hopefully I will hear from her tomorrow. Yes HB I will get her a red dress lol. And trip I've never been on jury duty and hope to never have to be!!
