Turkey burger meatloaf tastes just fine to me, more gravy type recipe than tomato and it's good stuff.

I am a vegetarian so I dont eat meat at all. but I make all my family's meatballs, meatloaf and such with ground turkey. The article jsut reinforces what I thought all along that the turkey is just better for them. Thanks for posting it.

Well, we do have eye teeth (fangs) and eyes in the front of our heads, like predators do. SO, ergo, we are meat eaters by nature.

A lot of people are (me included) are vegetarian for environmental reasons. Reducing, or eliminating, meat from your diet is pretty much the best thing you as an individual can do for the environment. Plus, I get really grossed out when handling raw meat (which I have to do since Bridger eats it). I usually cook turkey and fish for Bridger, actually I just made a turkey marsala meatloaf for him the other night.

I'm...sorry...to be the girl that has to do this...but....

I like red meat and I cannot lie
You other bruthas can't deny
When a big porterhouse steak is cooked medium and waved up in your face.................

Sorry...somehow got to the tune of Baby Got Back there for a second.

I like steak n potatoes
I like Bacon fried up nice and greasy
I like a nice pot roast
Gimme a Hamburger cooked off the grill

There ain't nothing better than the smell of ground beef/chuck sizzling in a frying pan!!!! Unless it's a Steak off the grill!!

(and I won't knock your turkey burger b/c I like it too....on top of my red meat! LOL)

Don't care how much healthier that other stuff is because I don't wanna live to be 102 - I want to enjoy the years I get while I eat my sirloin, rib eye, porterhouse, filet, hamburger, all ready to be cooked up medium for me to eat!!!!!

Now you've gone and done it. You make me sound like a guy. Thanks. Now I have to go find something to eat b/c I made myself hungry.

Blindsky I love you marry me?

Its not healthier in anyway My sister is a nurse and my mother a dietitian RN

The human body needs meat its that plain and simple

Women need red meat more so then men the amount of protein and other nutrients you girls lose during that week every month. needs to be replaced and the most expedient way is red meat...

Consuming red meat the week before and during your menstruation cycle will great reduce if not eliminate PMS try it I promise you it works

Plus vegetarians tend to have more methane gas build up and smell worse then humans ok with being humans

Men don't tend to understand what you mean unless you say it direct...so somewhere along the line I quit the "gentle" approach when it comes to men.

:-)

Its the Iron that women require from red meat. Vitmins simple don't metabilize well enough to give a women the proper amounts she needs, and if you try to get them out of veggies you would have to be a cow to eat enough to get the iron you need 18mg dayly, most women consume 10mg or less.
