Okay I can understand hating your ex and wanting to kick them but hurting your children and even taking the life of their mother is ridiculous!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21939684/

I have been reading more and more about these kinds of things. I even read a story today that was about a mom and her boyfriend that tortured and killed a 2 year old girl. I hope someone does the same to the mom and boyfriend.

I dont get it either. Makes me want to scream. I can tell you this, if anyone ever hurt my kid, I'd do the same to them without a second thought.

These are children for crying out loud! Makes me so angry.

Some people you wonder what goes on in their mind. It is sad really that people do such things to innocent children.

In the old days do you think stuff like this happened? Just curious because back then the people in a town were all close, watching out for one another! You really never heard of such things ever happening.

Of course now at days we have the media who go nuts for stories that are tragic like this. The worse the story, the more the media wants to hear about it fueling the news and newspapers into finding out about such things. Of course there is a larger population and I think the biggest contributor toward todays problems, society and the fact that neighbors fight now at days instead of being friendly.

I remember when I was a kid if you saw someone you always waved to them. You see someone looking for a parking spot you signal to them you are about to leave and give them your spot. You do that now, better watch out for the gun unless you are lucky just getting the finger.

What is wrong with our world anymore?

It is very sad when you hear or read about these tragic stories but they are all too common & getting worse.

People just don't care who they hurt when they themselves have problems and this time of year usually opens the flood gates to all kinds of emotions.

The holidays are great if you have family & friends & things are going well. Unfortunately, if you are alone, depressed, feeling lonely & abandoned........it can turn ugly real fast. If you top that off with domestic problems, money woes & so many other things that can happen............things can take a real drastic turn for the worse, especially if you are not mentally stable.

I really feel for these families & the loved ones left behind. People should seek help if they feel this lost but they should definitely NOT hurt others, especially those that they once loved.

We need to pray for our society..........it is only getting worse by the minute.

Remember the case of the home invasion where the perps killed the mother and two daughters, and the father survived. It happened here in Ct. where I live, and they were showing these two being brought into court with police escorts!! to protect them from snipers. I say let the snipers get them.
Or how about Jefferey Dahmer? When he went to jail, he got killed. I remember thinking, "There is justice. Even in jail."

We had a family of 5 killed just last year down the street from where I was living. There was rumors that they had a great deal of money come to them recently and the perps wanted it. They killed the Mom and the Dad all the children (some theirs some relatives) and only one person survived in the immediate family, I believe they were spending the night elsewhere.

Just this week, 20 minutes from here, a mother and father killed their toddler. She had been raised in a foster home and released back to the parents. The foster mother had begged the courts not to because of the abuse the little girl went through as a baby and she knew the couple was not off drugs. The mother and father put cigarettes out on this toddler, hung her by her shirt on the door hook for punishment of having accidents in her underwear, beat her and ultimately she was killed just days ago. The mother was shown crying over it on television. Why cry now...she just killed her daughter. It sounds like a case of meth. People go psycho on that ****.

Its so sad. I live in a state that is supposed to be good for raising families, and now even in our suburbs I hear about peeping toms, break-ins, murder suicides. Is it the news that makes it sounds so prevalent? They say crime rates have gone down...but down from where?

Just the other day, I had the girls portrait taken at Walmart. One of the employees came and said to the photographer, "There is a woman coming to get her picture taken. She is in the bathroom right now. If you see her hit her kid again, let us know. We'll have to call someone." A few minutes later, the bathroom lady shows up with her kids. One is maybe a little older than my youngest. Her eyes were all red so you know this was the one that was getting it. Her mom was getting mad at her because she wouldnt keep the bow in her hair. Yeah, and neither would my daughter either if I had bothered to put it in. I just thought how stupid that this girl has to get hit over it. I felt like punching the woman and asking if she liked it. Or telling her not to put the bow in the girls hair until it was time to get her picture taken.
I get frustrated with the baby sometimes, but not to the point that I would actually hit her. Unbelieveable. Mad

I do not know how people hit their children and feel okay about it.

It doesnt make sense to me. Yes, Kai makes me angry sometimes but I would never hit her. I walk away, cool down and usually by that point she has cooled down also and wants a hug. Smiler

I also got Kai's pic done last month and the witch at the photo place was in such a hurry that I had little time to pick out pics but I think some of them are cute. I am going to get a santa hat and take a few xmas type pics with Kai this weekend. I will post them with my pics of tree.
