The last thing i want to do is be banned from this network by solisitizing something that is illegal. Im not to brite when it comes to computers and i feel realy dumb asking this question, but what exaclty is a signature and what precisely is that little something that i can add 2 it? I have just started a business that is work from home and it not going very well. It's a lot harder than i thought. I understand about the 2 websites where i can tell people about my business. Now im afraid to even talk about my business for fear of getting kicked off. So i can tell people on the forum i got a job & work from and nothing else? But if someone wants to know more and asks me then i can tell them more?

Also, I used to known as asayo on here, i terminated my old email account and i dont remember my old password. Is there any way u could tell me my password so i could become asayo again, or do i have to stick w/ kahala? Which is fine.

Hi, I remember asayo Smiler
Your "signature" you can find if you go to edit your profile...it will appear at the bottom of every post. What it's mainly all about....is we get people that join for the sole purpose of advertising/soliciting in the forum, and have no intent of actually participating in the forum as it is intended to be, members interacting and supporting one another.
Just reread what Robin already wrote above and you should be alright following those guidelines. If you wish to advertise your business check those links she provided.

Also, you would need to contact Robin for the old login information on your previous account.

For the signature part it says i need permission to enter anything in it. Do i have permission don or robin? I cant wait to tell the different events that have happened in my life. When it comes to my job can i at least tell people that Ive found a home based business job, just to inform them. Lastly, how do u go about posting up pictures?

You can talk about the fact that you found a business that you are enjoying, that you are doing well these days in your life. You just don't want to "advertise" it, try to "sell the product", on the forum.
Personally I would think you would want to participate throughout the forum get reacquainted with the members, and them you, besides......we have a lot of new members since you were last here. By that I mean join in the existing topics, talk about other things going on in your life as well. I mean so far you're just asking about your business....How's your son doing these days? What else is going on lately for you?

Hi Kahata,
You will find with your new business that it is becoming very difficult to advertise as it was before. The rule of thumb I have is this...if someone from the network ask you what you do for a living, then you can mention it. If they want more information, I say to them that it isn't the place for me to discuss the business or service because of the strict laws on spamming or soliciting. You would have to go to specific business building sites such as the ones mentioned in the previous messages. In a forum like this you will not lose "sales" because the site isn't geared to individuals looking for your or our product or service. The people they have attracted to this site is looking for moral and emotional support so this wouldnt be where you would want to advertise even though your probably thinking that it is only to help other single parents. However the way I think is that if they were looking for business opportunities they will look for them on different sites when they are ready to look, so those are the places you would want to advertise. I know it is a touchy subject, but that is the way it is.

To don robin or singleparentcoach:

My sole purpose here isnt to advertise/solicit, its to tell my stories, get reaquainted and get to know people. I was just wondering when i tell people about my life if i could even mention i found a job working at home. I now know what i can say here and what i cant.

Lastly, still very confused. How do i go about putting up pictures?

Well, I used to have a pretty detailed thread about how to post pictures but it has been apparently lost in the site change. Eventually I'll rewrite another.
Meanwhile, if you wish to get reacquainted etc. then please, by all means, participate throughout the forum....
