I am seeing loads more single parents on the show lately ... is anyone from here??? Or tried to contact them????

I watch the show often-but have only seen one single parent-a guy in Alaska.
I often wondered if they did have single parents. It seems like most people they have on are couples with big houses and good incomes...
When I think about these people I wonder how their households get so out of control. When I was staying home with my kids when they were young I was very organized and it wasn't too difficult-now its somewhat harder what with schedules-work-household chores-but not as bad as what some people on the show go through-and I am doing it on a very tight budget in an apartment.
I don't mean to sound harsh on these people that they show-but apart from the single dad in alaska that I saw, all the other families seem to have much more support and finances. I wonder if they have ever shown single parents that are really struggling financially and struggling every day with holding things together?
