I am a 28 year old stay at home single mother of twin girls who just turned 2 1/2. I am living at home with my mother and stepfather. They both love my girls to death and would do anything for them and myself, but I think they are getting tired of having to help me so much and want me to do more on my own. It gets hard because one is autistic and has her little quirks, and the other one is very headstrong and likes to whine. I just want to be able to hang out with other single moms and listen to their stories and struggles so that I know I am not alone and can vent to somebody who knows what I am experiencing. I would like to meet some people here who I can chat with and talk to and not feel obligated to do anything for him/her.

I am mom of 3.5 yr old twins who are wonderful but the cost of daycare is killing me. I tried state assistance but that didnt work. Does anyone know of any grants or anything? Thanks for the help
