Hello everyone. My name is Keyausha. Mother of two (14 year old girl and 4 year old boy). Moved to the Valley of the Sun otherwise known as Phoenix, AZ. Just getting use to the neighborhood, finding the grocery store, gas stations with the best prices, mall (my daughter has to have one of those selected) and currently looking for sport groups my son can join. I wasn't sure how to post a new topic so I'm giving this a shot.
Anyone else have experience at moving to new locations/cities and not knowing anyone. Right now I just know a few people at work (just started with a new company) and the daycare providers

I'd like to set up a form for Arizona so single parents can come together and start networking with each other and socializing.

Hi all I finally got a promotion with my agency and I am moving to Atlanta, GA! My mother grew up there, we live together so she will be moving with me and the kids, and I will be moving from a district office to a regional office with the department of labor. I have been working with the people in the region for 9 years, but I have been in Nashville. At least the people I will be working with know me. It will be a big move, I work in an 8 story building now and when I get to Atlanta I will be working in the San Nunn Federal Building whick is HUGE!!!! I hope I don't get lost! Whish me luck, I am going to need it!
