Hello,
I'm new here. Mom to preschool boy and divorcing my husband. I have talked to my hubby about it and my lawyer sent him a letter to give him some time before getting an attorney. He still hasn't gotten one so I need to have him served.

Any experience or advice on best way to serve him? Can't be work because he doesn't sit in an office, he's always in his care. So here are the choices:
1 - Serve him on weeknight or weekend when we are both home and son is home
2 - Serve him on a day he is home from work watching our son while I'm at work, but he'd be alone with son, who may have to witness a bad reaction.
3 - #2 but have him served during time son is at preschool. So son won't be there, but hubby will have time to stew about it and maybe be in a state when he picks up son.

Safest to do when I am home, even if awkward? He might also pick a fight in front of our son if I am home. So confused!
