I find just running to the store to by a gallon of milk a long hard process.

You can leave anyone at home, you can just borrow a gallon some where or just the half gallon of milk that will be used for oatmeal grits or what not.

So off we go -with trying to get three pairs of shoes on, shirts, and of course the fighting with whos gonna sit in front.

then into store and go through I wants and the i wants and the... well you get the picture ..Its that same chat that all the kids now as they go through a store.

cattle everyone back into the car with the "how comes I cant haves" then back home.

One gal of milk... two hours later....
Where does that time go....

Any suggestions?

Or you just don't have a clue to what Im saying????

I can relate. I have alot of kids and going out with them is a nightmare. It's the fighting constantly especially around people. They work my nerves to the point that I start yelling and I have everybody's attention at the store.

No matter how many times I advise them to not act up when we go out they do it anyway. The worse place to take them is out to eat. The loud laughing, joking, playing with food, teasing each other, etc. People want to enjoy their night out with their family and have a peaceful dinner. Not sit with a bunch of misbehaved kids.

I am fortunate enough to have an older daughter so I can leave a few behind to remedy this kind of situation. The next time I go out somewhere I take the other half the didn't go out before. But sometimes my daughter doesn't feel like babsitting so I have to take them. But if I can I will leave them behind, at least some.

My kids make me laugh when they say "You never take us anywhere". Gee, I wonder why.
So don't feel bad my kids are the same and I think many other kids are too.
