My sonat is now 21 years old. I still go through periods when I am truly angry at his father. For lots of reasons. For giving up and most importantly for not showing little concern for his son. He shows some concern but, not as much as I hoped. His father is married now and his wife is pregant baby girl is due anyday now.. I am feeling a bit sad and jealous that my son lost out all this years without his father.. My question is with the new baby coming will he at any point feel the need to have a relationship with his son? Thank you..

Hey,

I think I responded to you in a similiar post this weekend. You can find it here.

Heh...I'm a boy, BTW, even though I have a picture of a woman under my name. The pic's just a joke...

Later,
Bobby

Morning Seick, I spoke with Bobby and he asked that I let you know that he read your post. He won't be posting for a bit, he's pretty busy and he doesn't want your post to go unacknowledged. Smiler

My oldest is an adopted stepson and his dad after years of not being a dad wanted him to change his name back to his birth name and my son told him that he was keeping the name he grew up with.

If your son is 21 and the dad has no relationship with him it is possible, but your son would have to want it to and it would not be the same as it he was there during his growing up years.
