I have a friend who is now my age (22). He was in a foster home and had a child when he was 15. He signed away his rights to his son when he was only 16. He told me he did not want to to this and was basically tricked into signing the papers as he didnt fully understand that he would never be allowed to see his son again. He is now wanting to see his son that he hasnt seen since he was 16. Is there anything he could do to gain visits with his son. I myself thought you had to be at least 18 to sign anything legal?? Im assuming that if he was allowed to see his son I shouldnt have any problems seeing mine as I didnt sign anything and lived with my son before.

More than likely him signing his rights had to be done by his legal custodian. I am not sure what the answer to this is. My only thought is call an attorney and ask them through the free consult.
