Hey guys. Any whitewater enthusiasts out there? It would be cool to get a group of guys together and meet up for a couple runs sometime. I've been down the New River and have friends and family that run the it or the Gaulley pretty much every year.

Girls?! How will us burly SFV men be able to pay attention to the rocks we are suppose to be avoiding with you hot SFV girls in the raft with us??
 Hmmm... Normajean in a wetsuit though... we might have to make some exceptions here guys. Any other SFV ladies care for a ride on the wild side down a class 4 and 5 river?Actually we will be rafting in PA (Youghiogheny or Cheat rivers) or WV (Gauley or New rivers) if we go so that's relatively close to you. They have chalets and whatnot available to rent to that is easy to afford with a decent group of people. I don't know about you... but I seriously am feeling the urge to reclaim my life and the things that I like outside of fatherhood. Talk some of the other girls into going too Norma and I will keep workin' on the guys. Every time I see your username I think oh good another Alaskan! Even though I already figured out the obvious, Florida is about as un-Alaskan as you can get. (AK is short for Alaska btw)
I would love to try white water rafting some day, but not enough to fly down to Penn state and join ya'll : P |

Hey I had a great friend from Anchorage, AK when I was up in MI. She was on one of the highschool ski teams... a captain I think. I know Anchorage is not exactly small but ya never know... its a small world... name is Julie Tipner. She is a riot.
