At A loss for Words - NOT!
Posted
Over Christmas, Jayd kept asking for these books that the kids at school were raving about. The title of the book is "Cirque Du Freak". She had read that one but there are three more to the series; "The Vampires Assistant", "Tunnels of Blood" and "Vampire Mountain". The series is written by Darren Shan.

It is the story of a teen who is slowing turning into a vampire, trying to hide it from his family while trying to find his sire and that's where I'm lost. My girl is enthralled with them. She relates the exciting parts usually during a playoff game or when some other once in a lifetime sports event is on and I found them to be pretty tame. She read the second book in one sitting. I was amazed! Must be a good book.

yeah my youngest read them, she really liked them, not my style of book, but she like all the type of book. She was also into "a series of unfortunate events by snikkett(spelling)"

liminey snickets was a good movie as well if you haven't seen it. it's a dark comedy. jim carey playing their "uncle". glenn close (sp?) is also in it. it's a hit or miss movie. you either like or you don't. but if she loved the book you should rent it. Smiler
