I am New to SFV
Posted
Hello ladies.. My name is Crystal and I am 22 years old. I have one son, 21 month old Joseph, he is an absolute DOLL! I am currently expecting a baby on July 10th.

My husband and I split up over a month ago, and while he has already chosen to move on to his new OLDER girlfriend, I am still alone, and very scared.

I am hating the holidays, and I know Valentine's day is just around the corner.. I hate the thought of him wispering things to someone else he used to say to me.. I hate the thought that my kids might not have their father around for them...

I am so glad I have found a board with women that know EXACTLY what I am going through.

Believe it or not you will find a lot of masculine support here too. Sometimes more.

I know it hurts to break up. Try not to dwell on what you think he is doing too much. Try to stay busy, like reading and writing on this board. It has only been a month so the wounds are fresh but know that it does get better.

We welcome you and hope you enjoy being a part of the family.

Hi mamacrystal,
I know how you feel about the holidays. This is the first Christmas without my husband and I am having some difficulties with it. I am finding that focusing on my kids is helping me. It was said before, this is new and you really need to give yourself some time to adjust.
Our prayers are with you.

mamacrystal,

Welcome to the board. This is a fantastic place to find the support that you need when you think you are totally alone. There are so many wonderful people here, many of which can relate to what you are going through! I know that doesn't take away the pain, but hopefully, w/time and alot of patience, it will get easier. Concentrate all your energy on the baby and the one on the way, and it should make the holidays somewhat better. Good luck, and feel free to continue to post. I look forward to getting to know you.
