two things.
well on Sunday I bought a puppy, a King Charles Cavalier - I always wanted one and she is a gem at 8 weeks.....at last I have found company to share couch (chair) time with, that does not interupt me, dig into me, talk through my program and chip in (every 10 mins)with can I have? and another benifit is my 5yr old plays with her so I don't have to run around the garden(with the 5yr old)as much so I get more peace. Ha Ha
Have not named her yet...ANY SUGGESTIONS

second good thing is my sons exams are over, he had them all last week, so now I can stop tip toeing around Mr grumpy semi stressed 17 yr old.

Goodness me - this is terrible...
....does anyone have anything nice to share!!

Come on it can't all be stress and hardship, lets share some possitive attributes of life so that any fearful 'single parents to be' can see some pleasant side to life as a parent.

My daughter Saskia aged 5 turned to me in the car yesterday as I was concentrating on negotiating some road works, that had stopped the traffic and boy was it hot yesterday and amongst her never ending list of demands and questions, she goes ..... "mummy why would someone throw butter out of window?"
and I go 'I don't know maybe they are silly'
Saskia looked at me, laughed and goes 'maybe its because they wanted to see the BUTTERFLY'
I laughted so hard, I completely forgot my annoyance at the traffic and the stresses of the day, Saskia reminded me 'lighten up'.
My own little commedian to lighten up my day.

ok, i love this idea.... 2 things for today:

1) My son Austin 10wks is the biggest ham and flirt...wherever we go if there is a woman around he will get the biggest grin on his face, look at her till she looks at him and then bury his face in whatever he can...usually me! It is the funniest thing to see!

2) My ex now wants to be and is a great father who loves his son. He sees him every week and takes awesome care of him. Our son is the happiest kid after being with his dad, and I end up being the happiest mommy! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Many good things to think of today!
1. my daughter is happy!
2. I am single and happy!
3. Just found out my daughter gets 3 weeks of summer camp at no charge to me and 2 of them are live in (free time for me!).
4. Finally figure out what my next step is! I have become allergic to many things at work and have been looking for my new profession .... I found it and I do not have to go in cold turkey!
Hey singem1 ... he is a ham!!! Enjoy
Have a great day everyone!

ok, my 2 good things for today:

1) It is Friday and I have the next two nights off from work so that I can spend lots of time with my adorable, loving son

2) The weather here is gorgeous and perfect to go outside and take a walk in. I have been waiting for weather like this since Austin was born in December

Well, this is a great idea

My list for today:

Confused I have twin baby girls and I still found a date for this weekend.
Confused I have next door neighbors that constantly want to borrow a baby - so it's a good thing I have 2 or I wouldn't have one to spend time with myself.
Confused I'm only 6 lbs over my prepregnancy weight
Confused my preemie babies are at healthy weights and are starting to smile at 3 months old.
