just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is doing-ya never know when things are quiet if its going good or we are all overcome with exes, pregnancy etc. so hope all is good. I have a little over two weeks left, i dont think i can go longer than that earlier would be better shes taken up every inch or should i say centimeter i have left and by the ultrasound last week it looks like most of it is her pudgy cheeks. shes ready to go as all i can feel is her bony behind and feet poking out. everyone says ill miss it when shes here, i dont know sometimes they can really hurt how is everyone progressing? hop eto hear from you all soon, if im not online for a while in a few weeks youll know where i am, but ill try to get in touch as soon as possible!

Its weird to see someone saying something nice oin the pregnant and alone board. But it is also refreshing. I am glad to hear that your baby is coming I can't wait to see my little bundle of muscle(because he is a he) Pregnancy really is beautiful thing. well im learning we all need a balance of happiness and stress and i know we all have our share of stress. This site gives you an opportunity to vent about the bad things, but we also need to hear of the good things too. :huggies:

all i know is i havent been feeling too well the last two days, the braxton hicks are really starting-not so much pain as the inability to move or breath, like someone is squeezing me. My dr asked me the other day if i felt tightening and i said no, now it starts. i feel all bruised inside. i just feel yucky so who knows, going to start keeping my bags in the car just in case.

You know, you did a great job describing that feeling, I'd forgotten. You may miss it, but at this point it will be nice to meet her and breath again and maybe be able to fit some food into your stomach! Those BH's stunk, they always caught me 1/2 way down the hall to the bathroom when I was preggo with Olivia and teaching.... stopped me in my tracks.

I hope you have an easy and quick (but not FAST) delivery.... and sooner than later. Exciting stuff, I bet you can't wait to kiss those chubby cheeks!

thanks sue yeah its hard to know if this is normal or the start of the real thing, well guess ill find out sooner or later :baby: . next appt is next thurs so if no dilation by then, then im in trouble cant stand this feeling another 2 weeks doesnt hurt just aggravating. well my mom had fast labors well, 6 hrs, 4 hrs and 1/2 hour and she said it wsnt painful so maybe ill be lucky, although i was 2 weeks overdue and she was wearing a bikini so if thats any indication i wont get off that easy.

That "not feeling too well" thing is what makes me think you are getting really close. I never went into labor fully... but my sister would always feel really icky 2-3 days before and she'd know it was coming before the labor started. Just keep watch on how often you are getting those BH's. More than 4 an hour need to be timed.

2 wks overdue with a bikini is just NOT OK! LOL

are you all set for having the baby? Sitters, etc? Do you have everything you need?

I just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you! It looks like anytime now may be your big day. I was getting so excited just reading about it....I have 92 days until my due date. It's my first one so I know I'll be freaking out when it's almost time. Just wanted to say take care and good luck in the delivery room! well nothing happened over the weekend, felt uncomfortable sat but sun was ok, i went to a fair and walked quite a bit (trying to kick start it) this am i feel nauseated and i have dull pains in my lower abdomen so maybe i am close and my hips are sore? well my next appt is thurs so if nothing then, then i dont know when shell make her debut, all i know is i dont like the yucky feeling every day, but guess i cant complain since i never had morning sickness i was hoping thurs so shes arrive on her fathers bday

sue-yes between my parents and sister i shouldnt need a sitter too often, not that im going too far. I think my moms going to sit when i go back to work and ill pay her. I had 2 showers (family and work) so i pretty much got everything, my friends gave me furniture (cribs, rocker, toybox, swings, highchairs)from their kids(hey why buy it and its like new) i went last week and stocked up on diapers(funny i only got one pack at the shower) Huggies were on sale and with coupons I got 4.00 off a pack, and yesterday i went to Kohl's and they had all fisher price toys etc 40 % off and an extra 15% with your card so i got an early start to her xmas shopping and got like 200.00 worth of toys for 85.00, (funny must be my nesting phase some people clean guess i shop-but frugally)i havent really had the chance to buy things my self and as a mommy to be you want to do that once in a while so ive bought some outfits, but returned them cuz i was afraid she wouldnt get to wear them, i live near an outlet mall which has Carters and they have some great deals.

well i went to the drs today, been feeling bad last few days and didnt want to wait til thurs. im having contractions and prelabor. the dr said she doubts it will take two weeks although i probably wont deliver today or tommorrow, but doubts ill make it to next weeks appt. Im not dilating, but im 80% effaced so well see she said usually you are effaced and dilate at same time, but some people do one then the other, i just know i cant go through having this pain for two more weeks so i decided to start my leave, because i cant get comfortable at work while having contractions and being in pain, at least at home i can lay down or take a shower if needed to soothe the pain. i mean ive felt worse its just that its nonstop so i dont get a break.

Good luck to you and the baby. Take it easy as long as you can! A woman doesn't know her own strength until she goes into labor!!
