Well, I would like to thank all of you that responded to my prior "Hard Times" post. Thank you for your advice, relating stories, and support. Your words encourage me and reassure me of my chosen path. I know that this new single mom life is not an easy one, but by all means not impossible. So many single parents out there and a LOT of success stories, I know its achievable. A lot of love, patience, effort, strength, and courage...I'm game for it.

So far, in the short amount of time that I have been here, I got a job as a Micro Lab Tech with a respectable research company here in Ohio and I got an apartment with enough room for a nursery for the little munchkin. I have to say that it has not been easy, it has been non-stop since day one, but you know what...all worth it cause it paid off. Some days are easier than others, but hey isn't life like that anyways? Now its just a matter of time and overtime to make everything else happen. I'm still keeping my head up.

I wanted to make a comment on this
quote:
Well.....So sad......Maybe you need to find a father for you baby .But not the drug user one.You know, that's so pity if your baby don't have father when he/she come to the wonderful world.
I'm not going to find just a guy to fill in a spot that is the least of my worries right now, I think I should take care of some other things first (and of course not a drug user, its not like I wanted my husband to turn out a junkie!). I know that the situation is sad, but I don't feel any pity for my baby becuase his father will not be in its life, somethings are better than others (all aspects have to be considered). I think that if the father would be in the childs life, he would have a tremendous negative effect on the child, hence the reason that I left (just wanted to give my imput on that).

And my advice for other pregnant females in crisis. I came upon a service chapter for pregnant women in crisis, its Birthright (follow link). They provide support, have a 24 hr hotline, referrals, maternity/baby clothes, and information on other community services. I realy recommend this for any pregnant woman...you are not alone! There are different chapters all over the states check it out.

Anyways, thank you for the support. Good luck to ALL of you.

Strength and Courage,
Yatzel

Yatzee,

I just read your other post, and hats off to you for accomplishing all that you have.
I am so glad you are out of that terrible relationship!!

And as for that quote you included in your thread...........my mouth drops open!!
Obviously someone who is clueless and I strongly doubt is a single mother.
Not a native speaker, and really anonymous, no info at the bottom.
Maybe a troll............?

Don't take eejits like that seriously! (It's not worth the bother).

Anyway, it's not true. Every baby does have a father, only sometimes he's just not around....
