I have only 13wks or 3 months 1week or 97days more to go!! I perfer saying 13wks b/c it seems so much of a shorter time. L.

I can leave this god forsaken job in 13wks! I'll have my new baby in 13wks. Ok, OK! I think everyone gets the point. I just can't wait. The two most important things is I get to say good by to this worthless crapy job and get to meet my new baby!

I can't wait to leave this job. Our delivery crew for appliances is giving his two week notice. So now my boss says the comment that well now you (meaning me) could do delivery and coordinate service. I looked at him and said I don't think so. I'm not risking my baby and my body for this job. He was pissed with that additude. The horrible part is he knows I'm pregnate and askes no actually demands I do delivery. No else really can handle it b/c he has heart condtions, one other guy does too, the tech has a bad back and his son can't do it b/c he has to just oh I don't know sit in his office cubbie and do nothing. But I'm 6 months pregante and I can go out there and deliver fridges, ranges ,etc!! As you can tell I'm VERY cranky and sick of this job.

Yesterday I get the disgusted look from the bosses wife and get to hear comments abou how her daughters were married when they had children. OMG give me a break you old screechy bat. Blow out your ear!!! This job has been getting to me since I frist started working here just seems to be getting worse b/c I know I can do a big count down and it's taking FOREVER to go by. I'm so sick of the boss's son acidently brushing up again my breasts or just plain spending way to much time at my desk. Standing to close to me. I can't stand it. I of course can't say anything b/c it's the boss's son. The sick part is he is old enough to be my father. He is in his 40's. YUCK!! He needs to go home and be that way w/his wife. I'm really not into guys being near me right now.

I'm getting the point that I just don't care about this job anymore would love nothing more that to just quit but I can't. Need the money and can't get any help until the baby is here in December. I've made it for 2.5years here whats 13 more wks.

I'm just getting impatient for things to start happening. OMG will this muggy crappy heat ever end in VT. Usually by now in VT the weather is the cool crisp fall weather. I'm very tired of the hot summer weather. If one more weather person smiles that fake smile and says oh my summer is still hangin on lucky us I'm going to personally reach thru the TV screen and strangle her or him!!!!!

If one more customer complains about their dishwasher or any other appliance not being fixed in a day then I'll be tempted to strangle them too. AHHHHHH.

Ok I'll stop now b/c I'm just going off on a tangent. Just thanks for letting me post this and just vent out my anger issues. I can not wait for December 27th to get here.

PS one more thing if I sneeze or cough one more time and have leakage problems I'm just going to give up! I swear I empty my bladder and still it's possible for it to leak out!! HOW?!?!? Ok I've complained enough!! I think I'm going to take a day off next week. Just call into work and take a day to myself. Let them suffer for a day w/out me. I have not missed one day of work since June! I deserve just one day, right?!

Wow, I forgot all of the things that go with pregnancy. Those sneezes just are a real pain. Just try to hold out til the baby comes, (at work that is).

Awww,....13 weeks. That really means it seem not too far away.

And how dare he think you should do deliveries, what an idiot and good for you for just flat out telling him no.

Ohhh and I don't blame you, a lot of pregnant women really have their time of not wanting any men around.

Ahhh...the leaks. I remember the leaks...actually...still have the leaks occasionally(only when I'm jumping rope or doing a hard cardio class where I have to bounce, lol), and my son is nearing two years old, lol. I wasn't so good at remembering those kegal exercises, LOL. My best friend is about 19 weeks along, and I keep giving her a hard time about the incontinence that she faces in the not so distant future, lol.

Well, the upside is that your boss can't fire you for not doing the deliveries because you could sue the pants off him, being a visibly pregnant employee and all.. and if he does fire you, well, you might get a good deal of money out of a lawsuit

And it took me a good year AFTER my son was born to not be absolutely repulsed by the idea of being touched by a man...I hate admitting this, but to be honest, that is the biggest reason I broke off my engagement with my son's dad when I was like 2 and a half months pregnant... I literally thought I'd feel repulsed at the idea of even kissing him (or any man) for the rest of my life. Sad, but true...you can't help what the pregnancy hormones will do.

Keep your chin up. Things will get better.


PS- Hey...did you find out what you are having, or are you waiting to be surprised?

Oh Spirit! What a jerkface you work for. Forget employer, and labor laws, discrimination, and sexual harassment. What man would expect a pregnant woman to help lift heavy appliances no matter what stage of her pregnancy? You work for a real prince, I can see.

I wouldn't pay attention to the wife making her snide remarks about their daughters being married when they got pregnant.She sounds very simple-minded.

I wouldn't put up with the sleazy son touching me, though. Tell him to go lock himself up in one of their fridges for a while, and cool off.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I really hope that if you DO stick it out there until your baby is born, that you don't go back there. I hope you decide to maybe apply for state aid for a while, and then maybe find another job? It sounds like a really lousy place to work.

Oh, and Happy Birthday to you. I remember reading in one of your posts that it was coming up soon. :bdcake:

Spirit so sorry to read about the problems you are facing at work.
Do not let that insane boss push you into making deliveries. They can hire a delivery person for that. You just keep doing the duties that you already have.
Sounds like a charming bunch of winners in their family.

Thanks for the the support everyone. I only have 12 more weeks left now! I'll get thru. No! I am not going back to this job after the baby is born. I'm just going to back out and take a rest from work for 4 or 5 months. I plan on heading back to work then and only partime. I just want a break from work for a while and foucs on making me feel better.

BTW I got my new materity pants for my b-day. Jeans what a wonderful creation. Haven't been able to wear my pre-pregger jeans for three months now so wearing now is great.

I'm doing better just crabby and ready to have the baby.

This has been a great thread and I have gotten lots of laughs, considering I was bawling earlier this evening.

I thought I was the only one who could not stand for a man to touch me. Yuck! I think that the BF stinks and I would rather just sleep. I did read a juicy *** scene in a book though that reminded me of my former self. Oh well. I wonder if I will ever have *** again....
