"THE PURPLE GRAPE...How I feel! LOL"

I was feeling kinda down yesterday about my X not wanting to be there for me. My job found out that I was pregnate - which turned out to be ok. My boss, the conseritive man, was really cool about it. Just said that I will be training someone new come October or November. For me being territorial it may be hard a few times but I'll soon get over it. She wil have to be the one to deal w/the personalities here. SUCKER!!! Big Grin

Anyways I was down and my mom picked me up and brought me to Walmart and Kmart and put about 300.00 worth of stuff on laway for the baby. Bassinet, carseat, bottles, clothes, etc. I have to help pay for the laways but that's only fair. It made me feel good. I was really excited for those couple of hours. It put a smile on my face to know that I do have stuff for the baby. I guess I got to spend time w/just my mom b/c I dont get that very often anymore. My son was w/my stepfather so it was just my mom and me. I needed that. I guess to have a little attention put on just me. Hey we all need that once in a while right?!

Hey Spirit,
Glad to hear things went ok at work. Isn't shopping for a baby always fun. Layaway sounds like a good idea. Just pay what you can and eventually get it out. Sounds like you had a good day. I'm happy for ya!

Hugs

Ah, good for you Spirit! Of course you deserve to have a little attention. As far as I'm concerned, when you are pregnant, it is your time to shine!

Baby shopping is the best part of pregnancy, lol (besides getting a beautiful baby out of the process Big Grin ) Sometimes I think I'd do it over again, just to get to pick out those adorable clothes, lol...sadly, I've shopped so much for my own son that he has a complete wardrobe for all seasons until he's three years old (he's 20 months old) My best friend is pregnant and I'm dying to find out what she's having so I can shop, lol. (She wont find out what she's having until the end of Sept.)

I'm glad you got to spend some one- on-one time with your mom. I don't get to see my mom very often (she's in Washington, I'm in Arizona)and I know how great it feels to just have that little time, even if it's just shopping, or even grabbing lunch. The next time I get to see my mom, it will have been 8 months that have passed since the last time I saw her. Bonding over baby stuff is a wonderful thing to do. Is she excited about her new grandbaby coming?

Honey
She is very excited about having a new baby. She want a granddaughter since this is my last baby. She said if she gets another grandson she will still love it just as much. Just a healthy baby is what both of us want in December.

I know I complained about my mom being controling and horrible but I realized that she can be a pain and kinda controling but after yesterday I can see that she really cares about me just wants the best for me. I guess I just needed that one on one time.

Sorry to hear your so far away from your mom. It must be ruff at times. I know I love my mom and I'm pretty close to both her and my step-dad. I hope you get to see her soon.

Wow you love to shop for your son. You know what thou my son had everything for clothing when he was your son's age too. I sure I will do this w/my new baby. I'll go broke if it's a girl...buying all of those cute little dresses and shoes. L Smiler
