Did I mention I went to the movies ?!

IT WAS WONDERFUL.

I even found a friend (the last one I have I guess) and a movie to watch: Troja. We went into the movie theater with a cup of coffee each, then I said, OH, I forgot the sugar, and there was 1 minute til the start, and he said, well, you can still go get some if you want, and I realized , YES, I can do that, just QUICKLY go get sugar and be back in less than 30 seconds�.imagine that with a child in tow.
LOL
And then we put the half full cups on the floor and I wasn�t afraid of any little guy spilling them.

I thought Troja is really a very stupid movie, one expected stereotype after the other, but MAN, it was GREAT.
For example when she wakes him up with the knife at his throat, and he�s not scared one bit (good old Brad) and then, who would have expected it, he gives her what she REALLY wants.

I guess it was a lesson in history/legends all the same, and I always loved those legends.

So, definitely a movie you MUST see.

Oh, yes, by the way, that was the first evening I went out in over 2 years.

Way to go Red ... happy you enjoyed a little "me" time ... and the movie too!
My preteen is away at camp ... we are doing movie day next weekend. Her pick of course but after 2 weeks of not seeing her that will be fine. Mom is having a rougher time of this than she is ... she I hear is having the time of her life!
