Saw "Mystic River" last night. As a single non-custodial father of a young girl, I was touched by the emotional scenes revolving around the father-daughter relationship of Sean Penn to his 19-year-old daughter.

I got a little confused with the ending. Not the best movie I've ever seen, but I'd give it 3-1/2 out of 5 stars.

Yup totally agree with ya...How far will someone go to do justice for their lost loved one?!?...I heard this was a good movie in rolling rock mag and was waitin for months for it to come out on dvd. I was told that the book was really good so during the wait I read and enjoyed it very much! Finally when the movie came out on dvd I was anxious with anticipation. Thank god I read the book first or I woulda been totally lost...lol

I saw this movie over the weekend. I loved it. I thought the ending was alot easier to understand than what "Dave" was up to. I did figure out who was the real killer about 2/3 of the way through. I think that Sean Penn deserved the Oscar he got for this. I loved the relationship it showed between father and daughter. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Have a great day!
