slick Hollywood action movie, easy watching, not much thinking involved, leave brain at door....

I liked the Island. It was freaky. I didn't see it coming. If you like movies like "The Sixth Day," or "Logan's Run," or weird sci-fi stuff, it's really great. Besides...you never know. We aren't very far from contoversial line-crossing in genetic engineering. In our lifetimes, I think we'll see a lot MORE things that question our ethics in how we value life.
