I am a single 30something mom from Missouri. I have two grown children ages 20 and 18 whose father I divorced in 1996. In the summer of 1997 I met my son's father. I have raised my son on my own with help only from his older sisters and my mother. It has been a rough road needless to say.I would like to ask a question now that I am done introducing myself. Does anyone know of a decent town in Missouri that is friendly towards single parents and their children. I live in a small Mo town and they aren't to accepting of single parents. Please don't say Springfield, I been there and done that and would rather live in a desert. I grew up in STL but am not looking to return there due to personal reasons. It would also need to be a town with employment available.

I would like to say thank you for the welcome Don.
It can be frustrating being a single parent. I am glad I found this site, from what I seen of it so far I like it.
