aww what an awesome thread!

I'm thankful that I can breath. That I have legs. That I have a roof over my head and my daughter is healthy and that I can feed her every day. We take so much for granted. I was feeling sorry for myself one day and somehow I came up with the idea to make a list of *everything* that I have in my life that is truly a blessing.

We take running water and the ability to use our hands for granted. but ok. man. there are those who don't have these simple gifts and it forces me to stop feeling sorry for myself and get up and keep moving.

yay for your thread manBig Grin

I'm thankful for the resources I've had overflowing; people who have given me insight of hope; for long-awaited answers to my prayers - a possible solution for my son's ongoing battle; a career that has taught me a lot about my child; and of course, my little man himself! Smiler May he overcome his challenges with every flying colour.

I am thankful for my son. I am blessed to be trusted by the Lord to raise him. I am thankful for all my struggles and hardships, because I know God will get me through everyone of them and always restore me and make me stronger. I am thankful That the Lord will always meet are needs and a as a father raising his child alone thats a miracle in itself. I am thankful for the hugs I get every morning as I drop my son off to daycare and the Hug I get every night as I tuck him in. Is there really any better feeling in the world than that ?

I am thankful that God has given me the grace to get through two of the most difficult years in my life without becoming a bitter person.

I am thankful for my son, who at 21, is an inspiration to me.

I am thankful for my daughter and that she has been able to deal with all that she has these past 20 mths.

I am thankful for my family and friends, who have driven me crazy during this time, but who have been there for me.

I am thankful for the people here who take time out of their lives to support others.
