WOW HB great job!! My dad when he used to do my hair would take a comb (not a brush lol) and just comb it straight back like they wore it in Grease (the guys not the girls lol) I always begged my mom not to leave daddy to do my hair for the day lol!

Thanks guys....
the bows are a little crooked but I did it...for some reason I can never get the bows straight or even...
my goal to was do it so the braids stayed behind her head which they are doing....
I've had this in my head for a long time but haven't been able to get it...till today...
If I do a part down the middle and braids on the side they get in her face and drives her crazy...
My braids aren't so tight either but it keeps her hair from getting all snarled up during the day...

And before you all oggle over her...perhaps you should see the REAL Hannah....
here's a couple more from this morning......
Don't know where she gets the goofyness....hmmmmmm

Wow, HB. Consider me impressed!

I struggle with Binta's hair, as it's a different texture than mine and really, really, really curly (looks similar to Hannah's). I do a decent job when I style Binta's hair (but have yet to learn how to pull off the cornrows).

The hardest part about doing Binta's hair is getting her permission to take the brush to it. She fights me and complains that I pull her hair, even when I apply conditioning product. Ah, what to do?

Sometimes, she comes back from her dad's in braids. (He doesn't do it - his wife has a hair braiding shop).

Good job HB, and yes, you're just about ready to try a french braid. That might help keep it behind her since it kind of braids in instead of out.....but don't ask me how to do it Big Grin
