binarian the MS dislike comes from running NT4.0/IIS servers. Hope all goes well for you on the 2nd. Wish I was were you are at. I'm just going into the pretrial conference stage - oh yeah, we're going to trial.

Paul, I've put off answering your response for a couple of days but can't hold back (hope the board mods. don't slap me around for this). A misplaced period could ruin a week for a guy but can really make a woman nervous....wink, wink.

I feel your pain on the NT4.0 stuff, such a cranky OS. And IIS 4 was just junky. Win2k3/IIS6.0 is a good a good combo tho; pretty secure and easy to work with.
The 2nd should be relatively painless; we did a collaboritive divorce and everything's been agreed on by now. I sure don't envy you going to trial - if good wishes help you have all of mine.

Thanks for the kind words binarian.

I just missed out on the Win2K/IIS6.0 roll out - was having a baby then. But I hear from the guys I used to work with that it's a dream to work with as you said.

Still not as secure as FreeBSD/Apache but easier to work with, that's for sure.

Loved Apache server. I had a box running 2500 websites on it and never had any major problems. But then as they say "to each his own".

Really hated to have to deal with Frontpage server extensions on a Unix box - we'd charge customers extra $$ just to be allowed to use them so we didn't have to deal with them....lol.

God I hate FrontPage, we have a graphics person in our office who uses it all the time. I've tried to break her of it but can't seem to make any head way. Yechhh....
