I am New to SFV |
I feel like I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
I work full-time in an office 8:00am to 4:30pm, I leave work go straight to daycare. Pick up Landen, go straight home, cook dinner. Mondays and Wednesdays I go to Collage at 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Mat watches Landen (which i hate) I have no time for anything. Im 19 for god sake and I feel like im 30  I want to spend more quality time with Landen but by the time I get to spend one on one time with him Im so tired and stress adn worried about finals or about this crazy custody and lawyers and **** im dealing with. Life sucks.... where the **** did it all go wrong. Im doing my best, im supporting Landen and I finacially but emotionally I dont feel good enough. Grrrr.\ Sorry rant post |

Hey there, I understand. We are here to listen, and offer support.
I wish they could invent a way to give a hug through the computer sometimes. LOL This will have to do. . . :hugme: I have to run to bring my son to the doctor, but I could not ignore this post! Hope you have a better afternoon! Keep posting! It helps! A warm bath by candle light does wonders to regenerate to. Don't forget to take care of you!! :huggies: |

"Needs to Get Life" At A loss for Words - NOT! |
It will get better, it will it will it will. School won't last forever! How many courses are you taking, maybe if it is more than one you could cut down for even just a semester. It is so hard, but everything you are doing is for a brighter future, you have to remember that. And it WILL be ok, you'll see the light and all your hard work will pay off. (((((HUGS)))) It is hard to do this in my 30's I can't imagine being 19.

"Least Fun Guy You Know" At A loss for Words - NOT! |
Hey,
I hate to be lazy, but here's a link to a post about the times I went to school. It's probably a little different in Canada, but maybe some of my experience could be useful. Later, Bobby |

At A loss for Words - NOT! |

BUT YOU ARE good enough and don't forget it. Don't think those thoughts it will burn you out faster. Negative feeds negative and positive feeds positive. Your doing great...you will have to find a way to sort out the anxieties you have because it is slowing you down. Things seem to drag right now for you, but life doesn't sort through things over night. Everything is one step at a time. Don't rush it, don't push it, take everything in stride. You are young and you will get to where you want in life if you just relax mentally a bit. One step at a time. You will get through it...I suggest finding a counsellor to help you with coping with the stress and helping you prioritize your daily activities so that you feel less stressed. When I was 19, I wanted everything like yesterday. Yes you probably do feel like your 30 and that is a very important sign for you to do things that make you feel like you are 19 again. Keep going to school, but find some ways to alleviate the other stresses in your life by seeing a counsellor to start....he/she will help you prioritize what you need to focus on and what you need to leave behind. Writing a guide for personal change, fullment and discovery for children with dead beat parents. If you as a parent, or the child have a story to share, would love to include it. |
