Ok, now I am getting nervous... should I take in my resume? They already have all my info, but I figure just in case.... and I need to go get some bond paper to print it on... and type a coverletter... I already got my outfit... I'm going to try to leave work a little early so I can get some sleep before the interview...

Ok, question: I bought an outfit for the interview. Black slacks, white pinstripe button down top (very nice), and low modern heels... should I wear a black blazer with it, just to make it look more professional? My sister says yes, but it's the south, and we are having 90 degree days. I just don't know!!! Argh! First impressions are everything with job interviews! On the brighter side, I haven't had a job interview in almost 3 years... and I got that job!

I don't think you need a black blazer. Your outfit sounds great the way it is. Good luck!!!!!!!!

I always bring extra resumes just in case they can't find mine or add extra people to the interview. I also type up my list of references and bring blank paper to take notes about the company or have my questions about them written down. You'll tend to get nervous, so there are a lot of helpful tips at MSN careers or even monster.com that will give you example interview questions or things you should ask them. I find that employers are impressed when I have about 3 really good questions for them as well. It means you are truly interested in employment with them, not just a paycheck.

I think no blazer is acceptable in this heat wave we are all having. You'll do fine.

I took your advice, B, and made 4 copies of my resume, a coverletter, and I copied all my current certifications... one of which they look for Wink And I have a nice manilla envelope to put it all in! I'm going to head to bed soon (I left work 2 hours early) and get some sleep so I'm not out of it for the big interview!!

Well, the interview lasted for an hour!!! Is that a good thing? I think so! I hope so, anyway. The job is an outpatient pharmacy that services the hospital. They close at 5 pm, and are closed weekends and holidays. I'll find out in a couple weeks.... now the wait is going to be the hardest part! Oh, and I looked good!!

It is always good if you get a little personal chit chat in there too. Not to much but just a little helps.
I sure hope you get the job. You might actually be able to sleep without all the interuptions.
