The "it" I am refering to is celibacy. I am the mother of a wonderful 3 year old. He was a 2 pound preemie and I spent much of the 1st 2 years nursing him. He is doing really well now, and is a little more independent. My self imposed hermit lifestyle is no longer necessary. My friends are starting to make fun of me because I am not the "Diva" I used to be gone are the heels, on with the clogs. I am 29 and will be 30 tommorow (gasp) I guess I think my life needs a little "spice" but, I am trying to avoid intimacy until I meet someone really special. It is always hard when spring rolls around sigh.....

Just venting some hot air......

LTB, congrats on being 30 tomorrow, but we'll all go along if you want to turn 29 twice! Wink Happy Birthday, no matter which way you decide to celebrate it!

As for the question you posed, it would be a difficult decision to just go out and do it for the "fun" of it now. I think you'll know when it is time to give "IT" up! Just listen to your heart and you'll know when things are right for you.

Happy Birthday tomorrow. Smiler I'm facing turning 30 this year myself, but I have a few more months before that day.

There are so many things you can do in lieu of simply "giving it up" to give it up. I suggest going out and having some plain fun. Making the men turn their heads may be just what you need to turn that "diva spirit" back on...if that's what you want (and it seems that it is).

And like TM said, listen to your heart. You'll know when it's the right time to go beyond simple fun.
