Well to put it simple, it went just Perfect!
He was happy all day long, not one single fit or anything. The cake, came out great. Everyone loved it, kept saying how good it was. (I made it). I stayed up til 1 trying to make the perfect little Spongebob cake to go on top. I had several trys and finally just went with the best one. I thought it was ok, but everyone else seemed to think it looked great. That made me feel good. Gabe loved it, had cake all over him. He hasn't had many sweets so that was a lot of sugar for my little man. He got tons of clothes, a lawn mower that blows out bubbles, a little toddler bike, and many other toys. The kids had tons of fun. It was suppose to be storming, but not one drop of rain. It was 75 degrees out and just wonderful. All the kids loved that my neighbor has horses and we got to go up to the fence and pet them. My dad came and was rude as always but I didn't let him bother me. Instead I tended to my duties as the host and welcomed everyone and made sure I talked to everyone, thanked them and such. He did throw a little bit of a hissy fit, because I wouldn't let him work on my car. haha but the man knows nothing about working on cars and we're talking about my brakes. But overall, it was a great day. Perfect weather, the house was ready and looking good, Gabe felt great, and loved his party, ahh it was a great first bithday party. Tons of pictures were taken and as soon as we get them developed, I'll post some. Just wanted to share my happiness.

Oh it was, I was a tad worried before hand, just because I heard one horror story after another of bad b-day parties. Thank you for the b-day wishes. Glad you had a good b-day.

So glad to hear it went really well the first birthday is so special and it sounds like he had a wonderful day the best thing is that you have loads of pictures too to show him when he gets older.
