The last few days, I have been feeling very depressed. I try to make myself snap out of it .. but for some reason it hangs on. I think a lot of it is because, I don't feel well physically.

I wonder sometimes... what it's all about. My boys are not here, and it's lonely - but if they were, I don't feel well.. and I should probably just relax while I have the chance.

How do you fight the blues?

*smile* My son came over for a few hours, before his father picked him up for the week. That really helped.

I was just reading some posts where some guy thinks we are all feeling sorry for ourselves. I hope I do not come across that way. Some days, I wake up feeling great - and the glass is half full... but some days, I have to push myself to do normal things. I wish I felt good every day.

I think Don pretty well has taken care of that situation. Go Don!!! Smiler

Inni,
Don't worry about him we all know you better. Anyway as for getting out of feeling blue. I am not sure but I know smiling does help. I also will get me a real up beat cd to listen to, something I really enjoy and is kind of fun.
When I am getting short with the kids I get a kids cd out that is really silly and play it real loud and all the kids dance and get silly. Gets me out of the rut.
God bless.

tomany -- ty ! I feel better today. Sometimes, you just have to let time take care of it. I think it could be hormones (sorry guys) ... but I watched several movies on Lifetime ... and cried some... and this morning, I woke up feeling better.

A lot of times - getting something accomplished will help to... I have the day off work, so I took my car in for service, and I've gotten some stuff done around the house... which helps.

I appreciate your advice. I love the idea about putting a kids cd in and being silly. My oldest is with friends, and my youngest with his father this week... so I'll just try to stay busy - and keep my chin up!

Hugsssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Getting out ouf the house helps me even if it just for a walk or for a coffee at my favorite coffee house. I also try and do some volunteer work when I start to feel down it really lifts me to help other people. Coming here helps alot too. Smiler
