Depression, hmm nothing new to me. I haven't been able to get out of my depressive state for about three years now. There are many reasons why, first while going through marriage counseling (trying to save the marriage) I was diagnosed as being BiPolar. Well ok give me pills and I am OKfor the most part.
And then a few months later my oldest son was diagnosed with Localized Linear Scleroderma. Because of this Auto Immune Disorder he has contracted Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis as well, another incureable disease. His hands hurt sometimes and he can't quite make a fist anymore. And he can't bend that leg as much as he used to because of his contractures. He takes two pills everyday except friday he takes 8. I love him so much.
Then on December 31, 2001 my youngest son was visiting his paternal grandparents and was bittin in the face by their family dog. He received plastic surgery and numerous stitches and scars from the attack. We are in the middle of a lawsuit with the insurance company. My lawyer sucks and only cares about the money he will get. The grandparents refuse to put the dog down still. They can have their @*!# dog! I have a wonderful son that I love very much.
Depression, it can subside for awhile when those kids look at you in that special way and say "I Love You"

Wow! I don't know what to say to this. I wish I had advice to give but you have probably received all the advice that anyone could give you and it hasn't helped because they have not been in your shoes. Does that make any sense at all? The best advice is to pray and love those children. Which it seems like you do with all of your heart and then some.
