Hi there I have been depressed for a little over 4 years. I did not know anything was wrong until March of this year when the $#%^ hit the fan. Anyway..I have a 4 year old little girl and it is so hard because I feel like we missed so much and I feel like I am not a good mother to her and like she deserves better than me. It hurts so much and I don't think anyone truly understands how I feel. I love my daughter with all my heart. I am just having the WORSE time in life right now. I spend time with her and tell her I love her but I feel like she doesn't need me. Well I just wanted to vent and maybe hear from someone else who may have some advice.

mommy dearest,people who think they have to be the perfect parent are setting themselves up for a fall...half of raising a child is the growing up process you will go through too mistakes are simply what wakes us up.....love yourself,love others if you can...you will do fine....
