Thank you kind sir. Well I have to say that like your Miss X, my Mr. X has given me inspiration. I always knew I liked to write things but since meeting him and all his encouragement, I can't seem to stop myself now. He is my Giant Muse, filling me with passion and creative energies. [/qb]
Completely understood, and glad I am not the only one.

I know your point but (as you know about my pond) I know you know I have you beat by a tiny bit when it comes to the distance in between. I know it can seem like a world away though. I wish for you a quick return to her side for a visit.

K, I had to laugh at that as I recently went from like to deep like to extreme like to not quite love to close but not love to almost love ... it is just interesting to read this thread and learn I am not some alien alone out there with these feelings. Thank you and the others for being open with these feelings.

(jk really, just a joke, just harmless flirting is all, lol. I just can't help it, I have no control of myself. That Mr. B has just created a S** driven maniac.) [/qb]
That is too funny, I was always raised that we were just here to take care of the men and I never thought I could enjoy myself. I have been turned into a monster in that fashion from the time talking to a friend of mine.

Thankful at least one meal this year-

Many will feel the loneliness...
Traditional holidays can lend-

And try to be thanful for something
While waiting for the day to end...

Others will not be affected,
By the American's holiday,
And, I doubt the Natives are thankful---

For the pilgrims who came to stay! [/qb]
Very nice, I bet there are many of us who have or will fall into more than one area in this.

Scoutmom,

reading the talk story just gave me a laugh like I have needed for so long. Thank you. I am surprised I did not laugh quite hard enough to pee myself but it was awfully close. hehe, thanks again for the good hearty laugh.

Scoutmom, again your talent at story telling is only surpassed by your beauty. I alomost felt like I was in the kitchen with you, trying not to pee my pants, and then the thought of haveing that conversation with Devon, made me think I would join you in that glass of rum.

Thanks for the entertainment, hope you don't mind if I tell that to some friends of mine with kids.

ACnut03 Nice poem, glad you are sharing in the feelings of the day, and I can relate to your poem on so many levels, you can't even imagine.

Thank you Dali,

I was worried about how it would go in here. I was afraid everyone would laugh at it. I wrote it a couple weeks ago and was debating showing it to anyone other than the person who is all starred out in the poem.

I hope that there would be no laughing from fellow SFVer's. I think everyone here knows how hard it is for us to share our emotions, after what we have been through. And I believe we all want each other to find happiness and for those that have and can express it in the way you did, I think you'll find nothing but support here.

Ok, I thought I'd take another stab at posting something here in the hopes that others will open up and share as well.

FALL

On a cold and solemn autumn day
I find my thoughts drifting away
To a happier, warmer time and place
Filled with the beauty of your smiling face
One thought of you and my heart is filled
My soul no longer wracked with chills
My love for you surly knows no bounds
My heart knows only the joy I've found
A hunger for you inside me roars
When I'm with you my spirit soars
I'm hoping my vision of us never ends
For in you I've found the perfect friend

Dali, are you serious? In that one pic you don't think there's any resemblance? http://www.pookerpics.com/dalidolph.htm
Maybe not so much in the other pic, but which is the most current? Doesn't matter, cause I think you look like him in the one anyway. Don't argue with me.

You guys truly are amazing. Accountingnut that was a beautiful poem, and please post more you are very talented.

Dali, another gem. Have you thought about writing for Halmark? You should send these to a publisher, they should be shared with more than just us. And yes feel feel to share my story with anyone you think will get a chuckle from it. That's why I posted it. Wouldn't it be funny if in ten years I got it in my junk email folder as one of the chain stories?

Inni, that was very thought provoking. I will be going to a Pow Wow in a couple of weeks and if you don't mind I think it would nice to share it.

And Binarian, what can I say, but that you surprise and amaze me daily. I cannot say that I would not have expected such a powerful expression of feeling, but the ability to put them into words is what made me fall in love with you.

Except in my case, because making people laugh is what brings me the greatest joy. Laughter heals all wounds. When I was a kid I would start laughing and giggling in the car for no reason and completely unexpected, just to get other people laughing at me and then quickly it would turn into a car full of people snorting, sniffling, tearing, leg crossing, and then my own personal favorite is the silent laugh where my nose wiggles.
