Welcome to the hangout, Sarah!

If you want to post your questions here, I could try to answer a few of them.

There's also alot to be learned just by going through and reading some of the older threads. So many opinions and solutions to be discovered. This site offers a wealth of information and friendship. Hope you can find what you're looking for here.

:welcome:

Welcome sarah,

I'm sure you'll find plenty of help. You can always post the questions on the board and then members can either post their answers or PM them back to you. Good luck.

Sarah, Some members may not feel comfortable posting their answers to all these questions on public forum. I for example will not post what I make a year Wink

I noticed you must have your PM feature turned off, might help to get more or at least more complete responses. Just a suggestion. My answers except for income are posted here for you.

Hope this helps.

1. How many children do you have: living with you and not living with you?

One daughter with me, two not with me

2. Living situation: alone, with children, with boyfriend/girlfriend/lover, etc.

Alone with just my daughter

3. Do you feel you have a decent about of family support: are they there for you when you need some time away, just there to lend support, etc.

I actually have great family support should I need them, though honestly I very rarely ask for help to just get away, more like regular visits and a good relationship lends to good moral support though.

4. Financial stability? about how much do you make a year

Yeah, I'm stable Smiler

5. What type of work do you do?

Self employed contractor

6. How much schooling do you have? Did you have children while attending school?

High school diploma, no children yet

7. How much gov't help is offered in your area, how much do you use?

Don't really know the full extent of govt help, besides obviously AFDC, food stamps, WIC, subsidized day care type thing. I receive no assistance.

8. What state do you live in?

California

9. Your age and the age of your children?

I'm 43 my daughters are 12,18,22

10. Are you male or female?

Male

11. If living with someone do they have children and what kind of govt help do they receive?

Not living with anyone

12. If young children do they attend daycare and for how many hours a day?

No daycare

13. Have you been diagnosed with depression or feel you should be?

Never diagnosed, maybe years ago could have been, but no worries today. Life is good Smiler

Not enough.

First of my entire biological family to graduate high school. Never took it further. No, I didn't have kids in school.

Don't know. don't use any (yet)

Alberta, CANADA

26, 5 and 2...respectively.

10. Are you male or female?

I'm female...but I dont' remember the last time I felt like a woman!!!

11. If living with someone do they have children and what kind of govt help do they receive?

n/a

12. If young children do they attend daycare and for how many hours a day?

My 2 year old goes for 9 hours, 5 days a week. My 5 year old goes for 9 hours 3 days a week, and 2 hours the other 2 days.

I think I should be diagnosed with something...then I'd have an excuse for not being perfect!!!
