At A loss for Words - NOT!
Posted
Hi ladies,

This morning I did a two hour phone interview with an author from Calgary Alberta. He is writing a book on how to keep fathers involved with their children after a break up. As many of you know it is very difficult for most dads to keep that incentive to remain involved in their children's lives but the author and I agree that fathers are important to children. This book is not a "whining about the legal stuff book". The focus is on helping dads through difficult times so that children will have them there when needed which is every day if possible. The author has asked me to extend an invitation to my many friends here as he seeks input from moms as well. I assure you that this book is not a "mom bashing" book nor does he seek negative aspects but rather the positive aspects of single parenting. I will post his e-mail link when I get the okay from the bosses but for now anyone interested can PM me for the link. I hope you see the benefits of such a book. One of my pet goals here is to try to eliminate the deadbeat, no-show father. Maybe we can help these fathers see that they can be a big part of their children's lives and not run.

The author is also a non-custodial single father and it was his experiences and trials that has inspired him to write this book. He wants to help young fathers realize that all is NOT lost after a break up. I hope you all take him up on his offer.
