Chicken Soup for the Soul is looking for heartfelt and inspirational stories of divorce for publication in Chicken Soup for the Divorced Soul. (spring 2008)
Starting May 15, 2007 and running through June 30, 2007 Chicken Soup for the Divorced Soul is sponsoring a story writing contest with a grand prize winner receiving a $350.00 cash prize, publication in Chicken Soup for the Divorced Soul, 10 signed copies of the book and the chance to have a local booksigning. There will also be one first prize awarded with the winning story receiving a $200.00 cash prize and publication in the book. Somehow I don't trust this. Isn't Chicken Soup for the Soul written by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen?
If it is, I doubt very much he would be using posts like this to get this kind of information. Hmmmm....I could ask Mike Dooley assisted with one of his books. But I doubt it would be put on here.   Writing a guide for personal change, fullment and discovery for children with dead beat parents. If you as a parent, or the child have a story to share, would love to include it. |

Gee, I bet a lot of us have such inspiring stories that we could write our own book, publish it, make few dollars and give ourselves and our kids a better life because of it... and probably even help out other single parents. hmmm

but what about this idea? and I am sure someone must have thought of it before....and it could bring in good revenue to this site as well...
