Thanks so much to all that replied to my other post. my research paper was going to be about single mothers, but since i have been on this site i have become very interested in single fathers. i guess from what i have seen in life and through my experience of being a single mom i never really think about the males who take on this huge responsability. My parents have been a huge support. I don't know where I'd be living without them.

I'm considered the working poor according to Indiana guidelines. That means I am just far enough above guidelines to not qualify for state assistance of any kind, but not enough money to really get any where in life.

I get no financial assistance, however they offer childcare, food and cash assistance to the unemployed
