My name is James Reiman (photographer and graduate student at USF) and I am searching for fatherless sons (and the mother's that raise them) in the Tampa Bay area. My father passed away when I was two years old leaving me with almost no memories of him. As part of my continuing exploration of the formation of masculine identity, I have started photographing other fatherless sons as part of my graduate work at USF. I am making a series of environmental portraits of each fatherless son/and mother that volunteers. There are no age limits, if you are an adult fatherless son please contact me as well. I am a totally single parent of a 4.5 yr old little boy. His biological father left before he turned two and we have not heard from him since. I would love to meet you;however, I would need to have some proof that you are a legitimate student who is currently registerd at USF... the name f the class and the professor would work. I removed the email info, but am leaving this just because....I agree that this is too strange of a request to be posting such an ad on this forum and had I seen it sooner/originally it would have just been removed.
