The good news: I just won Primary Custody of my 3 year old daughter after much fighting it out with the ex!

BUT!

I have a deadline of August 20th to find a place to live... I cannot qualify for any housing assistance because of my income, I can't afford my own apartment or qualify for one because of my credit SO I need someone IN PSL who is able to rent a ROOM to my daughter and I... and my cat (I have had him for 10 years, he's neutered and I cannot bear to part with him... I'm already giving up my pedigree Boxer and another cat because I know no one will take me with 3 animals and it's breaking my damn heart).

I'm 32, she's 3, we are both clean and considerate, I work full time as a Pharmacy Tech - have been at that job for 2 years and my daughter's daycare is in NW PSL so I *need* to stay in the area. Tried the papers and other sources but I only have about $300 a month to put toward rent and possibly help out with the utilities. Also offering to do all housework and minor maintenance/repairs.

I will have my daughter every other week and one overnight during the off-weeks, so at first it is going to be hard on her (and me). Although she is a very well-behaved child, I don't know how she's going to take the sudden change, so hopefully someone will be understanding of that fact.

If anyone in Port St. Lucie is reading this, or knows someone in PSL who would be willing to rent a room to us PLEASE PLEASE contact me. Time is short and I have a court-ordered deadline to get out of my mother-in-law's garage where we are staying.
