Welcome to the forum Lulu, it seems we have a number of folks in Florida....just don't know how close....since at best at least I could point to Florida on the map

Hi Don, is nice to hear from you. Yes i live in florida fro the pass 8 years. I'm originally from Queens, NY. My kids and have adjust to miami. It so hot and humid out here that is never a good hair day...LOL...Well the real reason why i signed up to SFV is becaused I'm having a great deal of STRESS with my 9 year old daughter. My princess has just been diagnost with ADD and Auditory processing problem. I'm not sure if you are familiar with this problems. Resulting in comprehension and learning difficulties. She is supposted to enter 4th grade this year, and i have to make the descision wether she is capable to function in that grade level or not. I was advise by her school psychologyst to get her started in a program called Lidamood bell. LMB is a very expensive and intensive program,that I'm not sure wether ill work or not??? I'm so frustrated...I feel so unsure of what's the best for her. Do you know of anyone that has gone thru something similar???

I can't give you any feeback on your situation as I have no experience in that area but there are several here that do and would be happy to help you out here...

Might I suggest that you post this in the open discussion area and you'll find lots of support...
Like Don...most of em here don't even know where Florida is let alone this thread....LOL...

Welcome fellow floridian!! I was born in Key West, and raised in south florida. Don't live there anymore because I'm in the military. There are lots of good people here, so like HB said.....welcome to our world.

Hey, another Floridian. Actually I don't think there are too may Floridians here, which is surprising considering how overcrowded it is down here.

Hello, I'm new to Florida from NY,, it's a huge adjustment...hope I can find some new friends and other single parents going through the same experiences I am. It's tough being a single parent.

Hi Jessy and welcome aboard...plenty of members here going through all sorts of experiences...some similar/few different.....we keep each other hoisted up just the same.
