My daughter just turned 18 and I need some advise on letting go. I look back over the years and have realized that I have been a little over protective.

Ok..Kim,
I'm gonna ask this way...
IF I asked your friends, would they say you've been a good Mom?

If so, then she'll be fine. You dont think about doing it...you just do it. And then you make sure you're there when they need you...cause they will. Smiler

Learn to enjoy the extra time you have.

My daughter will be 20 this year...next month actually. she still lives at home..but I treat it more as a boarding house for her. I dont make decisions for her...but I do advise, if asked. Is it hard? Yep.

Lots of things in life are hard..you just do them.
