I just moved to Orlando from Dallas, im having social life withdrawals, just looking for a few good friends. I'm 25 yr old single mom of two, and since i dont have a pic on here, im 5'10, 135, brown eyes and hair - and reasonably fit. I was glad to find this site, lord knows we all need to know that we arent alone in the struggle.

"social life" hhmmm....there is much that can be done both with and without the kids. my first objective would be to establish myself in a neighberhood get to know some people and with luck find a babysitter...
what are your hobbies/intrests?if you concentrate on those first then later you can figure out some new ideas.my latest enjoyable thing to do is the winterpark farmers market. saturday mornings...lots of great food,plants,crafts,misc and then walk over to the park and let the girls feed the squirrels...
do whatever suits you fancy...

Hi, welcome. I know what you mean about withdrawls, I'm 26 and from NY. Orlando is a place where it is what you make of it. During the weekends we get in the car and travel to the diffrent towns around. It actually is very fun. We have had season passes to Sea World for 2 yrs now. I only pay $13 a month, there are no black out days and no parking charge. And on the occations that I go out, I make sure I go out with people who I will have a good time with no matter where we're at. Do you have family in town? I would start going out with them.

I feel the same way,I to just moved to orlando and I have been dying to have a social life but I didnt know where to meet new friends in the same situation. Hope to chat soon
